This study evaluated the potential of [F-18]AlF-RESCA-ICG in assessing hepatic function reserve on PET/CT imaging. The results showed that this labeled agent can accurately assess liver function and is of great significance for diagnosing liver diseases.
This study evaluated the potential of (AlF)-F-18-labelled restrained complexing agent (RESCA)-ICG to assess hepatic function reserve on PET/CT imaging. [F-18]AlF-RESCA-ICG was prepared with high radiochemical and chemical purity (> 98%) and in vitro and in vivo stability. The biodistribution showed that [F-18]AlF-RESCA-ICG was rapidly taken up by the liver and discharged into the intestine through bile secretion pathway. PET/CT imaging showed that [F-18]AlF-RESCA-ICG remained longer in cirrhotic and ischemia-reperfusion injured liver than in healthy liver. [F-18]AlF-RESCA-ICG PET/CT provides high quality images and shows good potential in assessing global and partial hepatic function reserve. [GRAPHICS] .
