Line managers' hiring intentions regarding people with mental health problems: a cross-sectional study on workplace stigma

Summary: The study found that the majority of line managers are reluctant to hire job applicants with mental health problems due to concerns about long-term sickness absence and the ability of the employee to handle the work. However, those who support diversity and inclusive enterprises are more likely to have positive hiring intentions towards applicants with mental health problems.
