Compressive cyclic response of PEM fuel cell gas diffusion media

Poornesh K. Koorata et al.

Summary: The study explores the highly nonlinear cyclic mechanical response of the fuel cell gas diffusion media (GDM) at low stress levels, proposes a phenomenological model to accurately capture the experimental cyclic response, and applies it in the numerical domain. The results indicate a significant deviation from the conventional notion of structural analysis.
