Xiaoyan Liu et al.

Summary: In this paper, the dynamical characteristics of pure-quartic solitons (PQSs) generated in mode-locked fiber lasers are studied, and the bilinear forms and solutions of the fourth-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation (FNLSE) in optical fiber systems are obtained using Hirota's bilinear method. An interesting phenomenon of PQS molecular interaction is found, and soliton-asymmetric soliton molecules are obtained by parameters control.

Influence of Parameters of Optical Fibers on Optical Soliton Interactions

Qin Zhou

Summary: The interaction between optical solitons plays a crucial role in studying the interaction between light and matter, as well as the development of all-optical devices and the design of integrated optical paths. This study investigates the interaction of optical solitons based on the nonlinear Schrodinger equation, aiming to improve communication quality and system integration. By deriving solutions to the equation, the interaction of two solitons is analyzed, and suggestions are proposed to weaken their interactions.

Soliton Rectangular Pulses and Bound States in a Dissipative System Modeled by the Variable-Coefficients Complex Cubic-Quintic Ginzburg-Landau Equation

Yuan-Yuan Yan et al.

Summary: The study focused on the complex cubic-quintic Ginzburg-Landau equation and calculated the analytic one-soliton solution of the variable-coefficients CQGLE. It was found that rectangular dissipative soliton pulses of the variable-coefficients CQGLE can be effectively realized and controlled, breaking through the energy limitation of soliton pulses and potentially providing a theoretical basis for the preparation of high-energy soliton pulses in fiber lasers.

Localized waves and mixed interaction solutions with dynamical analysis to the Gross-Pitaevskii equation in the Bose-Einstein condensate

Haotian Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, a breather, rogue wave, and mixed interaction structures are identified in the Gross-Pitaevskii equation in Bose-Einstein condensate using the generalized Darboux transformation method, with discussions on the effects of related parameters on rogue wave structures. Numerical simulations confirm the dynamics and stability of these structures, showing that they can evolve with small amplitude perturbations under certain conditions, while breathers cannot. These findings suggest potential feasibility for experimental observation of these structures.
