Convenient synthesis of high-quality, all-inorganic lead halide perovskite nanocrystals for high purity monochrome QLED

Ying Li et al.

Summary: Recent research has focused on synthesizing CsPbBr3 quantum dots with excellent optical properties using caesium stearate as a precursor. Different chain length organic amines such as oleylamine and dodecylamine were studied for their effects on the quantum dots, showing that they provide better encapsulation properties. The CsPbBr3 quantum dots with a high photoluminescence quantum yield of 90% were successfully synthesized using oleic acid and DOAm ligands.

Innovative rapid synthesis design of water-stable solid-state Cs4PbBr6 perovskite luminescence materials for next generation display technology

Seung Hee Choi et al.

Summary: For the first time, a rapid large-scale synthesis of green-emitting solid-state Cs4PbBr6 perovskite luminescence materials was demonstrated using planetary centrifugal mixer equipment to improve synthesis efficiency. The surface of the Cs4PbBr6 material was modified with a silane coupling agent by the plasma-assisted method, leading to improved stability against moisture and photoluminescence property degradation.

Revealing the Aging Effect of Metal-Oleate Precursors on the Preparation of Highly Luminescent CsPbBr3 Nanoplatelets

Qiugui Zeng et al.

Summary: This study revealed that high luminescent and stable CsPbBr3 nanoscale platelets can be obtained by aging the metal-oleate precursors, with a photoluminescence quantum yield of up to 97.4%. The significant enhancement of PLQY was found to be related to the transformation of Pb-oleate precursor from isolated molecules into clusters during aging, highlighting the importance of understanding solution chemistry in synthesizing highly luminescent NPLs.

Core-shell CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 nanocrystals dispersed in thermoplastic polyurethane as writeable heat-resistant fluorescent inks

Wanyin Ge et al.

Summary: Researchers prepared large-yield stable CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 core-shell nanocrystals by adjusting the initial ratio of Cs/Pb using one-pot route. The growth process of CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 nanocrystals was analyzed, and their stability was evaluated under atmospheric conditions, showing excellent stability compared to pure phase CsPbBr3 nanocrystals. A writable fluorescent ink developed by mixing CsPbBr3@Cs4PbBr6 nanocrystals with thermoplastic polyurethane exhibited excellent heat-resistance stability under multiple heating-cooling cycles, providing alternative options for the commercial development of perovskite materials.
