Contributions of topological polar-polar contacts to achieve better folding stability of2D/3D HPlattice proteins: An in silico approach

Salomon J. Alas-Guardado et al.

Summary: In this study, we investigated the folding of designed hydrophobic-polar sequences using a new model that balances hydrophobic-hydrophobic and polar-polar contacts. Results showed that achieving better folding scores required lower weighting values, with higher values leading to misfolding of sequences.
