Capacitive behavior of functionalized activated carbon-based all-solid-state supercapacitor

Kyu Seok Lee et al.

Summary: This report presents the fabrication of an all-solid-state supercapacitor by incorporating activated carbon (AC) onto an aluminum substrate using the doctor blade method. The electrochemical properties of the AC-based supercapacitor were characterized through cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, showing good capacitive behavior after functionalization. The specific capacitance of the AC-based supercapacitor increased by about 160% after modification with nitric acid, indicating improved electrochemical performances.
