Effects of Sm-doping on microstructure, magnetic and microwave absorption properties of BiFeO3

Chuang Tian et al.

Summary: In this study, polycrystalline samples of Bi1-xSmxFeO3 were synthesized successfully using the sol-gel method. The effects of Sm concentration on crystal structure, morphology, chemical states, magnetic properties, and microwave absorption performance were investigated. The results demonstrate that Sm doping can effectively improve magnetic properties and microwave absorption properties of the material.

Sintering time dependent structural and magnetic phase transformations in Pr doped BiFeO3 multiferroics

Ompal Singh et al.

Summary: The structural stability and magnetic properties of Pr doped BiFeO3 multiferroic ceramics depend on the sintering time, with observed phase transformations and increased magnetization with longer sintering times. The enhancement in magnetization is suggested to be caused by the increase in canting angle while crossing over from polar rhombohedral to antipolar orthorhombic symmetry.

Effects of Ni-doping on microstructure, magnetic and microwave absorption properties of CoFe2O4

Zhaofei Tong et al.

Summary: The Co1-xNixFe2O4 ferrite material samples were successfully synthesized by the sol-gel combustion method. Analysis using XRD and Raman spectroscopy revealed changes in the structure and magnetic properties with the doping of Ni2+ ions, including lattice distortion and destruction of the ferromagnetic sequence. The decrease in grain size due to Ni doping was observed to impact space charge polarization, with implications for microwave absorption properties.
