Nonlinearity Mitigation Based on Modulus Pruned Look-Up Table for Multi-Bit Delta-Sigma 32-CAP Modulation in Underwater Visible Light Communication System

Wenqing Niu et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the nonlinearity mitigation method in underwater visible light communication systems, proposing the DSM-CAP and MP-WLUT techniques. Experimental results show that DSM-CAP has better nonlinearity mitigating performance than normal CAP, and the introduction of MP-WLUT can reduce the size of WLUT while improving transmission quality.

FTN SSB 16-QAM Signal Transmission and Direct Detection Based on Tomlinson-Harashima Precoding With Computed Coefficients

Shaohua An et al.

Summary: A Tomlinson-Harashima precoding scheme is proposed and experimentally demonstrated for faster-than-Nyquist signaling, achieving high spectral efficiency for QAM format. The coefficients for the precoder are computed through simulations, simplifying system operation and maintaining high performance in the presence of ISI. Experimental results show negligible sensitivity penalty and record FTN rate, proving the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
