Dendropanax dentiger (Harms) Merr. root and its major constituents exert therapeutic effect on adjuvant-induced arthritis in rats

Li Yang et al.

Summary: The study showed that the root extract of Dendropanax dentiger has a significant anti-rheumatoid arthritis effect in rats, potentially due to phenol derivatives that modulate inflammatory markers. Additionally, four phenol derivatives isolated from the root extract exhibited notable COX-2 inhibitory and antioxidant activities, supporting the traditional use of D. dentiger in Chinese folk medicine.

Myeloid IPMK promotes the resolution of serum transfer-induced arthritis in mice

Hyoungjoon Ahn et al.

Summary: Our study reveals that myeloid IPMK is a key factor in the resolution of RA, with its deficiency impairing the inflammation resolution process in myeloid cells. Bone marrow-derived IPMK knockout macrophages showed no apparent defects in immunoglobulin Fc receptor (FcR) activation, osteoclast differentiation, or resolvin signaling.
