Resistive Memory Devices Based on Reticular Materials for Electrical Information Storage

Summary: Reticular materials such as metal-organic frameworks and covalent organic frameworks have been proposed as an active insulating layer in resistive switching memory systems. RRAM devices with fast switching speeds and enhanced storage density show potential for excellent scalability with their relatively simple device architecture. Recent progress on the development of reticular material-based RRAM devices and their operational mechanisms are reviewed in this study, discussing new challenges and future perspectives.
