Four new species in the Tremella fibulifera complex (Tremellales, Basidiomycota)

Long-Fei Fan et al.

Summary: This study investigated species close to Tremella fibulifera from China and Brazil, confirming it as a species complex with nine species. Five known species and four new species within the complex were recognized based on morphology, molecular evidence, and geographic distribution. Phylogenetic analyses supported the existence of eight independent lineages within the complex.
