Weibull parameter estimation and reliability analysis with zero-failure data from high-quality products

Cai Wen Zhang

Summary: This study presents new estimation techniques for the fundamental problem of reliability estimation involving Weibull parameters and zero-failure data. A novel unbiased estimator for the Weibull scale parameter is introduced, demonstrating superior statistical performance compared to conventional and other new estimators. Additionally, an efficient confidence interval for the Weibull scale parameter is derived, with satisfactory coverage probabilities demonstrated through simulation.
