Nomograms including the UBC® Rapid test to detect primary bladder cancer based on a multicentre dataset

Christina J. Meisl et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the clinical utility of the UBC (R) Rapid test for diagnosing bladder cancer and developed nomograms to identify high-risk patients. The UBC (R) Rapid test alone showed limited accuracy, but when combined with age, smoking status, and hematuria, it provided a fast and accurate screening tool for primary bladder cancer.

Identifying the Molecular Mechanisms Contributing to Progression, Metastasis, and Death in Low-grade Non-muscle-invasive Bladder Cancer: A Case Report

Sarah Weiss et al.

Summary: Transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder is a common malignancy with high recurrence and progression rates, and current therapy strategies are mainly based on clinical and histopathological findings. Studies on molecular subtypes of bladder cancer are ongoing to identify potential therapeutic targets.
