Enhanced electrochemical properties of Co3O4 with morphological hierarchy for energy storage application: A comparative study with different electrolytes

The electrochemical properties of the samples were explored in the presence of different electrolytes, showing that NaOH and Na2SO4 (with Hq) electrolytes resulted in high specific capacitances due to additional pseudocapacitive effects. The EIS plots indicated different semicircle diameters for different electrolytes, highlighting the variations in charge transfer resistance and ion-electrode interactions.

Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue using a ZnO/TiO2 heterojunction nanomesh electrode

NiO-Co3O4-rGO as an Efficient Electrode Material for Supercapacitors and Direct Alcoholic Fuel Cells

Additionally, NiO-Co3O4-rGO exhibits current densities of 15 and 10 mA cm(-2) in methanol and ethanol oxidation reactions, respectively, with excellent stability.

Cobalt and nickel oxides supported activated carbon as an effective photocatalysts for the degradation Methylene Blue dye from aquatic environment

Summary: Oxides supported Activated Carbon (Ox-ACs) were prepared from Calophyllum inopyllum via pyrolysis and acid treatment, with cobalt and nickel oxides doped on the surface. These doped Ox-ACs showed efficient photocatalytic degradation of Methylene Blue, with the incorporation of Co2+ and Ni2+ ions significantly enhancing the degradation rate. The kinetic study using Langmuir-Hinshelwood model showed good fitting, and the recyclability test confirmed the stable performance of the catalysts for effluent dye degradation.
