Factors impacting consumers' intention toward adoption of electric vehicles in Malaysia

Summary: This study investigated the factors influencing consumers' intention to use electric vehicles in Malaysia. The results showed that perceived value, attitude, ascription of responsibility, subjective norms, personal norms, perceived consumer effectiveness, and awareness of consequences significantly and positively affected consumers' purchase intention of electric vehicles. The findings of this study can enhance the understanding of consumers' behavior towards the adoption of electric vehicles and contribute to the promotion of electric vehicle development.
