Wen-Jing He et al.

Summary: This article proposes an adaptive tracking control scheme based on the MTN approach for a class of switched nonlinear systems with input delay. By addressing the input delay issue and introducing a new variable, utilizing MTNs to approximate uncertain nonlinear structures, the designed controller ensures bounded signals in the closed-loop system and convergence of output tracking error to arbitrarily small values. This method is applied to switched nonlinear systems with input delay for the first time.

Jun Mao et al.

Summary: This article presents a stabilization achievement for a switched nonlinear time-delay system through output-feedback control under the sampled-data and global senses. An observer with the sampled output measurement is constructed to evaluate the unavailable states, and then a controller formed from the sampled observer states is given. The global stability can be ensured for the considered systems working under the time-varying delay case and the developed sampled-data controller with a switching restriction through a proof using a Lyapunov function candidate and a merging virtual switching signal.

Shi Li et al.

Summary: This article considers the problem of decentralized adaptive fuzzy sampled-data control for switched large-scale nonlinear systems with time-varying delays. Fuzzy logic systems are used to handle unknown nonlinear terms. A novel fuzzy adaptive law is proposed, utilizing only the system states at sampling instants. Additionally, a proper CLF and a new decentralized adaptive sampled-data control law are constructed to ensure boundedness of all states of the CLS. The effectiveness of the developed strategy is verified through two examples.
