Optimized analysis and enhanced thermal efficiency of modified hybrid nanofluid (Al2O3, CuO, Cu) with nonlinear thermal radiation and shape features

A. Abbasi et al.

Summary: The study investigates the thermal characteristics of three types of modified hybrid nanoparticles in terms of heat transfer, focusing on the contribution of viscous dissipation and Joule heating, as well as addressing the shape effects of the nanoparticles. The mathematical model developed takes into account the associated laws and thermal properties of the modified hybrid nanofluid, and numerical simulations are carried out using the Keller box numerical scheme to analyze the thermo-physical properties and heat transfer rate fluctuation. The results indicate an enhancement in temperature profile with increased solid volume fraction of copper oxide nanoparticles, while a lower change in entropy generation is observed for aluminum oxide and copper nanoparticles.

Significance of nanoparticle's radius, heat flux due to concentration gradient, and mass flux due to temperature gradient: The case of Water conveying copper nanoparticles

Nehad Ali Shah et al.

Summary: This report explores the importance of increasing nanoparticle radius, energy flux due to concentration gradient, and mass flux due to temperature gradient in fluid dynamics under an inclined magnetic field. The dimensional governing equation was non-dimensionalized and parameterized using suitable similarity variables, and numerical solutions were obtained using shooting techniques and MATLAB in-built bvp4c package.

Cattaneo-Christov heat flux feature on carbon nanotubes filled with micropolar liquid over a melting surface: A stream line study

M. Gnaneswara Reddy et al.

Summary: This research explores the significance of C-C heat flux on carbon nanotubes embedded with micropolar liquid over a melting surface, converting the model to a set of ordinary differential equations for analysis of its impact on energy and velocity. The study reveals non-uniform flow and thermal boundary layers for SWCNT/MWCNT, with larger material parameter scale reducing velocity and angular velocity. Additionally, streamline analysis is presented.
