Image Cryptosystem for Visually Meaningful Encryption Based on Fractal Graph Generating

Summary: In this paper, a novel image cryptosystem based on fractal graph generating called Visually Meaningful Image Encryption (VMIE) scheme is proposed to encrypt images into visually meaningful encrypted images. The scheme uses fractal generation parameters as keys and selects different fractal transformations based on pixel value distribution characteristics to better camouflage the plain images and enhance security. Simulation experiments show that the proposed scheme has low computation complexity, high security, and encrypted images with good understandability, strong resistance to compression, and minimal data increase.

A new unified image encryption algorithm based on a lifting transformation and chaos

Summary: Image encryption is essential for ensuring the security of image information in network communications. A new unified image encryption system with identical encryption and decryption algorithms was proposed in this paper, utilizing an external key and the Henon map for key generation. The system achieved encryption/decryption speeds of 59 Mbps on a computer equipped with i7-9750H CPU, demonstrating strong sensitivities to secret keys, plain images, and ciphered images with a maximum relative error of only 0.55%. The proposed system can be considered as a candidate scheme for network image information security.
