This study focuses on finding sufficient conditions for synchronized bursts using coupled Hindmarsh-Rose model and verifies the outcomes through experiments and numerical simulations.
In neuronal networks, synchronized bursts are of greater significance. These bursts get developed in recurrent networks, astrocytic recycling of neurotransmitters, positive feedback by synapses, and short-term synaptic plasticity. Being inspired by the significance of bursting phenomena in neuronal networks, the present work is focused on finding sufficiency conditions of synchronized bursts using coupled Hindmarsh-rose model. Non-smooth Lyapunov function-based stability analysis for synchronization of bursts in coupled neural oscillators has been proposed. The outcomes are verified through experimentations on equivalent electronic set-up and numerical simulations.
