Linear Network Coded Wireless Caching in Cloud Radio Access Network

Summary: This paper proposes a linear network coding (NC) wireless caching scheme that combines cache placement and content delivery phases. The scheme achieves coding gain to address high temporal variability of user requests and insufficient caching at BSs. Analytical and numerical results show that the proposed scheme achieves a higher sum degrees of freedom (DoF) compared to existing works.
