2-Methoxyqualone, a new recreational drug, discovered from a package seized by the police: a preliminary report

Summary: In this study, a sensitive analytical method for the detection and quantification of etaqualone in human hair samples was successfully established using GC-MS/MS. The method showed good linear relationship, high accuracy, and precision, demonstrating its potential application in rapid detection and identification of the psychotropic drug etaqualone.
