Summary: This paper investigates generalized synchronization and parameter identification for complex-valued dynamical systems, proposing a method based on a complex-valued vector mapping. By utilizing Lyapunov stability theory and adaptive control method, sufficient criteria are established to achieve generalized synchronization for different-dimensional complex-variable chaotic systems, and necessary and sufficient criteria are derived to ensure complex parameters identification. The theoretical results are verified through simulation examples with reduced-order and increased-order systems.
