Systematic Reviews of Clinical Benefits of Exoskeleton Use for Gait and Mobility in Neurologic Disorders: A Tertiary Study

Marcel P. Dijkers et al.

Summary: This study described and evaluated systematic reviews of exoskeleton use for gait and mobility in individuals with neurologic disorders. The quality of the reviews was found to be generally poor in terms of methodology and reporting, with shortcomings in reporting patient and intervention information, as well as failure to address subject duplication in primary studies. Awareness of these weaknesses is important for stakeholders relying on this information for decision-making, and future research should aim to address these methodological limitations.
