A novel High-Gravity AOP process for enhanced NOx attenuation using alkaline H2O2 as a strong oxidizing reagent: Reaction mechanisms and kinetics

Zhi Qian et al.

Summary: The novel High-Gravity Advanced Oxidation Process (HiGee-AOP) using basic H2O2 solution as a liquid oxidizing reagent significantly improved NOx removal efficiency, achieving high removal of NO under optimal conditions. Experimental and simulation results indicated that the nucleophilic hydroperoxyl anion (-OOH) dissociated from H2O2 was the main reactive oxygen species (ROS) responsible for NO oxidation in alkaline H2O2.

Influence of atmospheric surface oxidation on the formation of H2O2 and ?OH at-water interface: Mechanism and kinetic model

Wenting Wang et al.

Summary: Numerous studies have shown that atmospheric surface oxidation significantly affects the surface characteristics and species of pyrite, but the influence on its reaction activity remains controversial. Experimental and simulation studies suggest that atmospheric surface oxidation can impact the production of hydroxyl radicals and hydrogen peroxide by pyrite, altering its reactivity.

A highly efficient Fe/Beta catalyst for the liquid-phase oxidation of naphthalene: The influence of Fe species and zeolite acidity

Lei Chen et al.

Summary: Fe/Beta catalysts with different Fe species and acidity were prepared by impregnation, ion-exchange, and hydrothermal methods. The catalysts were compared by various physicochemical techniques and liquid-phase oxidation of naphthalene, with Fe/Beta(100)-hy showing the highest catalytic activity due to the highest content of isolated Fe3+ species and enhanced acid density.
