A new semi-empirical model for cosmic ray muon flux estimation

Junghyun Bae et al.

Summary: This study proposes a simple and versatile semi-empirical model to improve the accuracy in estimating muon flux at various zenith angles. The results show that the model significantly improves the estimation capability of muon count rate, and it can be extended to estimate muon flux at different altitudes and underground.
