Pyrolysis characteristics and products distribution of petroleum sludges

Ziyi Wang et al.

Summary: Pyrolysis can harmlessly treat petroleum sludge and recover energy materials in a short period. The pyrolysis temperature has a significant effect on the composition of the products, with higher temperatures favoring the production of small molecule products. The pyrolysis treatment shows good curing effect on chromium.

Enhanced Strength, Microstructure, and Thermal properties of Portland Pozzol ana Fly ash-based cement composites by reinforcing Graphene Oxide nanosheets

Karthik Chintalapudi et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates that adding 0.04% graphene oxide to PPC can enhance compressive strength by 40.41% and improve microstructural characteristics. The functional groups detected in hydrated cement mortar confirm graphene oxide's reactivity in regulating CaCO3 precipitation. XRD peak phase identification indicates that graphene oxide reinforcement can regulate the microstructure of PPC composites.

Experimental study on high-temperature gasification and melting characteristics of the pyrolysis residue from petrochemical sludge

Junlin Sun et al.

Summary: In this study, the high-temperature gasification and melting properties of pyrolysis residues from petrochemical sludge were experimentally investigated. It was found that PRPS prepared at 650℃ exhibited the best gasification reactivity. Under specific atmosphere conditions, the highest yield of effective gas and high-density slag could be obtained.

Functional group characteristics and pyrolysis/combustion performance of fly ashes from Karamay oily sludge based on FT-IR and TG-DTG analyses

Wenlong Mo et al.

Summary: The fly ashes from the primary cyclone separator, the secondary cyclone separator, and the bag-type dust collector of an industrial oily sludge pyrolyzer were characterized and studied. The results showed significant differences in pyrolysis and combustion performance among the three types of fly ash, with the bag-type dust collector demonstrating the best combustion characteristics.
