Investigation of the aging behavior of cellulose fiber in reclaimed asphalt pavement

Ning Li et al.

Summary: The study found that cellulose fiber undergoes a decrease in conventional and high temperature performance during the aging process, resulting in reduced cracking resistance of asphalt mortar. The fiber is oxidized and degraded during aging, leading to a decrease in performance. Additionally, the original hollow cellulose fiber gradually transforms into a flattened form after aging, causing a decrease in performance.

Investigating the Effect of Degree of Blending on Performance of High RAP Content Mixtures

Hesham A. Ali et al.

Summary: The research investigated the effect of blending degree on the rutting and fatigue performance of 100% RAP mixtures, finding that performance is influenced by the type of rejuvenator and aging levels. It is recommended to adjust the amount of rejuvenator based on the target HTPG for desired cracking and rutting performance.
