In situ fabrication of metal-organic framework derived hybrid nanozymes for enhanced nanozyme-photothermal therapy of bacteria-infected wounds

Xin Wang et al.

Summary: A novel metal-organic framework (MOF)-derived hybrid nanozymes strategy was reported for enhanced nanozyme-photothermal therapy (NPT) in treating infectious diseases. This strategy improved antibacterial effects and reduced adverse reactions by decorating platinum nanozymes on Zn-based photosensitizer. Experimental results confirmed the excellent antibacterial properties of the MOF-derived hybrid nanozymes, suggesting a promising antibacterial candidate with minimal adverse effects for biomedical applications.
