Output formation tracking for networked systems with limited energy and aperiodic silence

Jin Jin et al.

Summary: This study investigates the limited-energy output formation tracking problems in leader-following networked systems with topology switching and aperiodic silence. A new output formation tracking control protocol is proposed, and a two-step transformation method is presented to separate the dynamics of the networked system. Sufficient conditions for limited-energy output formation tracking are provided, and a partition checking algorithm is introduced for design criteria verification. The theoretical results are validated through a numerical example.

Gaussian process-based kernel as a diagnostic model for prediction of type 2 diabetes mellitus risk using non-linear heart rate variability features

R. Shashikant et al.

Summary: The study aimed to develop a low-cost, non-invasive diagnostic model for early prediction of T2DM risk using non-linear HRV features. The model successfully differentiated healthy subjects from T2DM subjects based on Poincare plot features, and achieved high performance using a GP classifier with linear kernel.

Remote monitoring of heart rate variability for obese children

Daniel Gustavo Goroso et al.

Summary: This study presents a new, inexpensive and easy to implement approach for remote monitoring and analysis of cardiovascular parameters in children. The results show significant differences in HRV parameters among children with different weight categories, as well as variations in these parameters across different time periods.

The Applicability of the Poincare Plot in the Analysis of Variability of Reaction Time during Serial Testing

Elena Ioana Iconaru et al.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the relationship between reaction time variability, as measured by Poincare plot indicators, and age, self-reported health, and perceived anxiety levels. Age was found to be a significant predictor of mean reaction time values, while indicators SD1, SD2, and AFE were associated with self-reported health. Variability in reaction time was more reflective of health status rather than age or anxiety levels.

Limited-energy output formation for multiagent systems with intermittent interactions

Xiaojun Yang et al.

Summary: This paper addresses limited-energy output formation design and analysis problems for multiagent systems with intermittent interactions. It proposes a new dynamic output feedback formation control protocol with limited energy supply and sufficient conditions for leaderless limited-energy output formation. The paper also extends main conclusions for leaderless multiagent systems into leader-follower ones and provides numerical simulations to demonstrate theoretical results.

Differences in heart rate variability and body composition in breast cancer survivors and women without cancer

Daniel Escutia-Reyes et al.

Summary: The study aimed to explore cardiac autonomic changes and body composition modifications in breast cancer survivors compared to cancer-free control women. Significant differences in HRV indexes and one body composition measure were found between the two groups, with nVFR showing strong correlation with HRV indexes in the BCS group.

Parkinson's disease effect on autonomic modulation: an analysis using geometric indices

Mileide Cristina Stoco-Oliveira et al.

Summary: This study investigated autonomic modulation in individuals with Parkinson's disease using heart rate variability indices obtained through geometric methods. The results showed significant reductions in certain geometric indices among the PD group compared to the control group.
