Long-term oncological outcomes in patients undergoing laparoscopic versus open surgery for colon cancer: A nationwide cohort study

Summary: This study examined the impact of laparoscopy versus laparotomy on recurrence status in patients undergoing intended curative resection for stage I-III colon cancer. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the risk of recurrence between laparoscopic surgery and open surgery.
