Systematic investigating on the broadband solar absorption and photo-thermal conversion performance of TiN@rGO plasmonic nanofluids

Boqiu Luo et al.

Summary: This study focused on the preparation of plasmonic nanofluids containing reduced graphene oxides decorated with titanium nitride nanoparticles for direct absorption solar collectors. The results showed that the presence of TiN on graphene enhanced the light-capture ability and that the plasmonic nanofluids exhibited superior solar-thermal conversion efficiency. The experimental findings demonstrated that the maximum photo-thermal conversion efficiency reached 66.74% at low mass concentrations, highlighting the potential application of plasmonic-graphene nanofluids in DASCs.
