The Application of Controlled/Living Radical Polymerization in Modification of PVDF-based Fluoropolymer

Hong-Hong Gong et al.

Summary: Fluorinated polymers, such as Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), are widely used due to their inertness, weather resistance, low flammability, and thermal stability. However, modifications using Controlled/Living Radical Polymerization (CRP) have been necessary to improve practical applications of PVDF-based fluoropolymers.

Enhanced ferroelectric properties of P(VDF-TrFE) thin film on single-layer graphene simply adjusted by crystallization condition

C. Zhao et al.

Summary: The effects of thermal treatment temperature and crystallization temperature on the structure, morphology, and piezoelectric/ferroelectric properties of P(VDF-TrFE) on graphene substrate were investigated. It was found that coercive voltage is dependent on crystallization temperature, and there exists an optimum crystallization temperature for the best properties of the sample. The relationship between structure and piezoelectric/ferroelectric properties was established, providing guidance for fabricating high-performance P(VDF-TrFE)/graphene devices.
