Summary: This research aimed to gather the voices of children in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain to examine how they are coping with the crisis. The study found that children in lockdown experienced mixed emotions, feeling happy and relaxed with their families, while also feeling fear, nervousness, worry, loneliness, sadness, boredom, and anger. Additionally, they reported physical difficulties being deprived of fresh air for weeks, missing outdoor exercise, and socially missing peers and caregivers.
