Flexible multilayered aramid nanofiber/silver nanowire films with outstanding thermal durability for electromagnetic interference shielding

Shuang Li et al.

Summary: The multilayered aramid nanofiber/silver nanowire films prepared by combining silver nanowires with aramid nanofibers exhibit excellent EMI shielding and mechanical properties, attributed to hydrogen bonding between layers and internal reflection of electromagnetic waves within the silver nanowire layers. These multilayered films demonstrate outstanding stability and performance advantages at high temperatures.

Au Nanofiber/CNT 1D/1D Composites Formed Via Redox Reaction at the Ionic Liquid/Water Interface

Ippei Koya et al.

Summary: Au nanofiber/CNT 1D/1D composites and Janus-type Au/CNT composites were prepared utilizing the liquid/liquid interface between water and a hydrophobic IL as a redox reaction site. The formation of the composites involved reduction of AuCl4- at the IL/W interface where CNTs were adsorbed. By controlling the order of CNT adsorption and AuCl4- reduction, different types of composites were obtained.
