Nano-casting procedure for catalytic cobalt oxide bead preparation from calcium-alginate capsules: Activity in ammonia borane hydrolysis reaction

Through nano-casting, cobalt-alginate capsules were used to form surface-active beads containing Co3O4 nanoparticles, resulting in enhanced hydrogen release performance. The catalysts were able to be used for 555 minutes without mechanical damages, and enabled rapid and easy recovery at the end of the reaction for improved reuse.

Modulation of Cu and Rh single-atoms and nanoparticles for high-performance hydrogen evolution activity in acidic media
