The Influence of Different Surface Cleansing Agents on Shear Bond Strength of Contaminated Lithium Disilicate Ceramic: An In Vitro Study

Summary: This study confirmed that contamination with saliva and silicone disclosing medium reduces the shear bond strength of lithium disilicate, but can be restored using acid- and alkaline-based surface cleansing agents. The surface elements of lithium disilicate were similar after treatment with different cleansing agents, and the main mode of failure was adhesive failure in every group.

Summary: The long-term stability of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells has been improved by introducing a thermally stable and hydrophobic silicone resin layer as an interfacial layer. This layer inhibits ion diffusion and thermal crystallization, improves energy level alignment, and enhances the power conversion efficiency of the solar cells. The devices show high performance retention after exposure to various stress conditions.

Preparation of a modified phosphate-based adhesive and its hot bonding performance on 316L stainless steel

Summary: A novel phosphate-based adhesive was prepared in this study by using homemade aluminum phosphate as a matrix and adding different fillers simultaneously, showing potential applications in aviation, aerospace, and other fields. By studying the effects of calcination temperature and filler composition on bonding mechanism and high-temperature bonding strength, it was found that the addition of CuO to the fillers enhanced the high-temperature bonding strength of the specimens, with a maximum tensile strength of 3.9 MPa at 500 ?C.

An addition-curable hybrid phenolic resin containing silicon and boron with improved thermal stability

Summary: In this study, a hybrid phenolic resin containing silicon and boron was synthesized through addition-condensation reactions, resulting in improved residual weight at high temperatures. The hybrid resin achieved uniform dispersion of hybrid elements at the molecular level and addition curing via the presence of vinyl groups. Characterization using multiple techniques provided a detailed understanding of the synergistic effects of boron-silicon modified phenolic resin.
