The Changes in Cervical Biomechanics After CTDR and Its Association With Heterotopic Ossification: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Nicholas Hui et al.

Summary: This study demonstrated that cervical biomechanics significantly increased after CTDR, while there was no association with rates of HO and ROM-limiting HO. Single-level CTDR and duration of follow-up were associated with changes in cervical biomechanics.

Relatively Low Rate of Heterotopic Ossification Following Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Ioannis Gkiatas et al.

Summary: This study aimed to characterize the prevalence and severity of heterotopic ossification (HO) after primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The results showed a decrease in HO rates in studies published in more recent years, likely reflecting changes in perioperative medication protocols.
