Summary: This study used immunofluorescence techniques to investigate the dynamic changes in cell wall compounds of lupine root nodules and flower abscission zone (AZ) under drought conditions. The results showed upregulation of extensins, galactans, arabinans, xylogalacturonan, and xyloglucans in both nodules and the AZ. Additionally, modifications in the localization of high- and low-methylated homogalacturonans and arabinogalactan proteins were detected in nodules.
