Early detection of wheat Aspergillus infection based on nanocomposite colorimetric sensor and multivariable models

Summary: This study presents an effective method for early detection of Aspergillus infections in wheat using porous silica nanospheres to fabricate nanocomposite colorimetric sensors. The results show that the nanocomposite colorimetric sensor can improve the chemical response of Aspergillus infected wheat in the early stage and mild infections, accurately distinguishing infected wheat samples.
