Regulation mechanism of three key parameters on catalytic characterization of molybdenum modified bimetallic micro-mesoporous catalysts during catalytic fast pyrolysis of enzymatic hydrolysis lignin

Shuang Xue et al.

Summary: A novel preparation method for molybdenum modified bimetallic micro-mesoporous catalyst was proposed for catalytic fast pyrolysis of enzymatic hydrolysis lignin. The optimized catalyst structure and interaction between zeolite support and metal species contributed to the regulation of active sites distribution and the production of MAHs. The NiMo/AZM catalyst showed the most significant coke inhibition effect and achieved high mass yield of MAHs and low selectivity of bulky oxygenates.

Insight into master plots method for kinetic analysis of lignocellulosic biomass pyrolysis

Laipeng Luo et al.

Summary: In analyzing kinetic reactions of solid-state reactions like lignocellulosic biomass pyrolysis, the accuracy of determining the kinetic mechanism function using the master plots method depends strongly on the variation degree of the frequency factor with conversion and the conversion dependency of activation energy. Failure to consider these factors when utilizing the master plots method may lead to misestimating the kinetic mechanism function.
