Nanotechnology guided newer intervention for treatment of osteoporosis: efficient bone regeneration by up-regulation of proliferation, differentiation and mineralization of osteoblasts

Zahid Hussain

Summary: The study focused on efficient co-delivery of raloxifene and curcumin using HA-modified NPs for bone remodeling potential. The NPs exhibited excellent physicochemical characteristics and remained stable upon storage. This simultaneous delivery strategy of anti-resorptive and bone forming agents could be a promising pharmacotherapy for osteoporosis.

Curcumin-laden hyaluronic acid-co-Pullulan-based biomaterials as a potential platform to synergistically enhance the diabetic wound repair

Syed Ahmed Shah et al.

Summary: The injectable hydrogel loaded with curcumin demonstrated a significant wound healing potential in a streptozotocin-induced diabetic rat model, showing a faster healing rate compared to other treatment groups. The hydrogel exhibited strong biocompatibility and enhanced cell proliferation, serving as a promising platform for sustained and targeted delivery of hydrophobic moieties.
