Single-molecule localization microscopy has become an important tool in biomedical research. The LOCAN Python library provides well-defined data structures and analysis methods for analyzing localization data in a script or computable notebook.
A Summary: Single-molecule localization microscopy has become an important part of the super-resolution microscopy toolbox in biomedical research. Software platforms for applying analytical methods to the point-based data structures are needed that offer both routine application and flexible customization of analysis procedures. We present a python library called LOCAN that consists of well-defined data structures and analysis methods for analyzing localization data in a script or computable notebook.
