Enhanced subterahertz spin-current transients via modulation of cross-sublattice damping in uniaxial antiferromagnets

Chi Sun et al.

Summary: We have presented a model to calculate the injection of sub-THz spin current transients, and studied the effects of damping parameters on the spin pumping signal. We found that the amplitude of the spin current transients is influenced by cross-sublattice damping, while spin pumping can be reduced by increasing the cross-sublattice spin-mixing conductance.

Room-Temperature Antiferromagnetic Resonance and Inverse Spin-Hall Voltage in Canted Antiferromagnets

I Boventer et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates that spin pumping signals induced by the resonance of canted antiferromagnets with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction can generate easily observable inverse spin-Hall voltages. Using a bilayer of hematite/heavy metal as a model system, the research shows that antiferromagnetic resonance and associated inverse spin-Hall voltages can be measured at room temperature. Direct information about the mode handedness can be obtained by comparing different materials.

Domain wall dynamics in ferromagnet/Ru/ferromagnet stacks with a wedged spacer

Yuelei Zhao et al.

Summary: The study investigates the effect of interlayer exchange coupling J on chiral domain wall dynamics in synthetic antiferromagnetic spintronics. Different behaviors of domain walls are observed in regions with antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic exchange couplings. The strongest antiferromagnetic exchange coupling point is determined, and a simple phenomenological model is proposed to explain the experimental results.

Reducing Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and field-free spin-orbit torque switching in synthetic antiferromagnets

Ruyi Chen et al.

Summary: Perpendicularly magnetized synthetic antiferromagnets (SAF) can achieve field-free spin-orbit torque (SOT)-induced magnetization switching by modulating Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, providing a practical route for their use in spintronic devices and paving the way for magnetic memory devices with high density and low power consumption.
