Pulmonary complications after laparoscopic liver resection

Yasuko Matsuo et al.

Summary: LLR might be a better surgical approach to avoid PPCs compared with OLR, with significantly lower intraoperative blood loss, rate of intraoperative blood transfusion, overall PPCs, and cases with chest radiography-confirmed pleural effusion, pleural effusion requiring thoracentesis, and pneumonia in matched groups. Additionally, postoperative hospital stay was significantly shorter in the LLR group.
