Assessing the clinical accuracy of a hand hygiene system: Learnings from a validation study

The results showed that hand hygiene compliance significantly decreased over time once the data presentation meetings from management stopped, indicating that healthcare workers fall back into old hand hygiene routines once improvement initiatives are stopped.
