A systematic review of classifications systems to determine complexity of patient care needs in palliative care

Matthew Grant et al.

Summary: This article aims to identify and describe classification systems for complexity of patient care needs in palliative care, finding six main classification systems. However, these systems vary in their approach to determining complexity of care needs and have limited application. Further research is needed to explore how these classification systems can integrate with and impact clinical care.
