The impacts of caregiving intensity on informal caregivers in Malaysia: findings from a national survey

Summary: The study found that 5.1% of adults in Malaysia provide informal care, with high intensity caregivers more likely to be employed and provide longer care. Different factors affect the health and daily activities of caregivers depending on the intensity of caregiving. Assistance and training for caregivers play a significant role in mitigating the negative effects of caregiving.
