Summary: A new interpolation strategy was proposed to mitigate the DOD effect by estimating biases between adjacent daily orbits, significantly improving the 3D orbit interpolation accuracy for all satellites. The strategy was validated through PPP, reducing DOD-induced satellite phase residuals and providing high interpolation accuracy at day boundaries.

Performance evaluation of BDS-3 PPP-B2b precise point positioning service

Summary: A new precise point positioning (PPP) service has been provided by BeiDou global navigation satellite system (BDS-3) with corrections transmitted by PPP-B2b signal from geosynchronous orbit satellites. Evaluation shows that the PPP-B2b corrections can significantly improve the accuracy of the orbit and clock offset errors, with a slight mismatching state observed each time data for correction parameters changes. The real-time accuracy of the PPP-B2b corrections is slightly lower than that of the Centre National d'etudes Spatiales RT products due to regional tracking network constraints.
