Flexible Copper Nanowire Electronics for Wireless Dynamic Pressure Sensing

Summary: Recent advances in the field of flexible electronics have focused on developing flexible pressure sensors with high sensitivity and the capability of being additively manufactured for monitoring signals pertaining to various stimuli. The conformal resistive pressure sensor described in this study shows sensitivity for static pressures ranging from 49 Pa to 4905 Pa, fast response time, and high cyclic stability and reliability. This sensor can also be utilized for wireless detection of impacts and pressure impacts, as well as detecting arterial physical situations noninvasively. These findings highlight the potential of sensor electronics with additive manufacturing for next-generation flexible hybrid electronics.
